• Reach out only from your company’s official email domain, not Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo, or another personal or free address.
• Put everything in the body of your email: who you are, what you’re proposing, budget or compensation, and timeline. I don’t click links in unsolicited emails, so a pitch that’s mostly a link won’t be reviewed.
• Any attachment that looks suspicious, unsolicited, or potentially fraudulent will not be opened. Leave a clear, verifiable digital footprint: official website, LinkedIn, company email.
• Every inquiry goes through a verification step before any conversation moves forward. Take the time to write a real, specific pitch.
